Why Should I Choose Lash Couturier?

My  inaugural  training  in  2018  of  Classic  Lash  Extension  Basics, opened  the  door  to my  journey  in  learning  as  much  as  I  could  about  lash  extensions.    I  will  never  be  done  learning,  as  the  industry  grows  and  the science  behind  lashing  evolves ,  there  will  always  be  more  information  to  learn!    

Since  my   introductory course,  I  have  completed  15  additional  lash  trainings  covering  a  wide  range  of  lash  skills  and  techniques.    Each  one  I have taken, has added  to  my  skill  set  and  perfected  my  technique.  

My  motto  is:    If  I’m  not  learning  I’m  not  growing.    And  I’m  still  not  done!    June  7-9th  I  will  be  flying  to  Miami  Florida  for  the  most  presitgious  training  of  them  all  at  Lashmakers®.    This  is  an  intensive  one  on  one  private  three  day lash  trainers  course.  Specializing in the authentic Russian Volume Technique.  (A true testament to any artist’s craft having mastered this technique). 

This training is not for the faint of heart, upon completion of this training it will have equipped me with the skills and knowledge required to become an accredited Lash Extension Trainer!  

It will also elevate my professional skill standing to that of “Master Lash Artist” having mastered all lashing techniques.  Nothing but the best training for me and my amazing clients! I am proud to say that my goal is to be the Best Lash Artist that I can be.  I believe heavily investing in my education is the key to perfecting and elevating my craft.

Why??    

As  much  as  I strive to  give  each  client  exactly what  their  heart  desires, sometimes  this cannot  always  be  done  safely (And may require a few tweaks to the design).

There  are  so  many  factors  that  must be  considered  when  crafting  a  custom  lash  design  for  any of my clients.  One  size  does  NOT  fit  all.    The  length,  diameter, health  and  natural  lash  count  are  just  the  tip  of  the  iceburg  when creating  a  set  that can  be  worn  long  term (and  not  cause  irreperable  harm  to  your  lash  line).   

I am proud to say I have  had  clients  wear  lashes  for  years,  (that  were  applied correctly  and  safely  by  myself),  and  have  never  had  to  “take  a  break”  from  lashes as they were  never  overloaded  in  the  first  place.    

The goal is  for  all  of  my  clients  to  be  able  to  wear  their  lashes  for  as  long  as  they  choose,  without  having  to  worry  about  permanent  damage  or  lash  loss  when  they  decide  it’s  time  to  remove  them.

I  am  a  firm  believer  of:   ‘You  get  what  you  pay  for’.    

Which means  only  the  best, trusted  and  professional  grade  only  products  are used  in  my  studio.   Superior  quality  to  me  does  not  involve  cutting corners  (whether  that  be  appointment  length or  product  quality).   Each  lash  order I receive  is  carefully  inspected to  ensure lashes  are  consistent  in  color,  diameter,  curl  and  length.    

Adhesive is purchased  from a  licensed professional only  supplier,  is a  fresh  batch  (batch  and  expiry  date  marked)  and  is of   medical  grade (no toxic Amazon glue allowed).    

All  other  supplies and  tools used  during  service are also  of  equal  standard, to  ensure  a  finely  crafted  lash  set  using  the  industry’s  best  products.  I  stand  behind  my  work  and  the  products  I choose  to  accomplish  this.    

• From the start of your service and to the end of your appointment, I am constantly monitoring everything I touch in order to prevent cross contamination.
• I offer contactless payment  at my studio - just tap and go. 
• I ensure adequate gap times between appointments for sanitization of the studio.  This also reduces  possible interaction with the previous client between appointments.
• Client intake forms are required to be filled out before any service can be performed.  (Done online for easy completion yay!).  This allows me to identify any contraindications that may arise and ensure the appointment can proceed safely for you.
• The door to my studio remains closed and locked during the entire service - no interruptions allowed while you are having your lash nap.
• All surfaces are sanitized as per provincial health guidelines.  
• Hand washing is performed at the start and end of every service.  
• Hand sanitizer is readily available and used frequently throughout the appointment as needed.
• All single use items are disposed of promptly.
• All implements used during the service are washed in hot soapy water,  then sanitized in a high grade sanitization bath.  Regular testing of said solution is logged and completed using specialized testing strips to ensure the solution strength meets the correct efficacy threshold.
• All blankets are changed out after each use and washed/dried at the highest settings.
• I wear a mask for the duration of the service, this is  to protect myself from long term exposure to cyanoacrylate fumes that I work with for  8+ hours a day.
• If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask,  or if you prefer to have your appointment without one  - that is fine with me!  

My  goal  from the moment you walk into  the  studio is  to give  you  the  best  and  most  luxurious lash experience  you’ve  ever  had.    I  have carefully  taken every  touch  point  into  consideration  to  make  your  appointment  the  most  refined  and  comfortable  as  possible.

You  will  love  the soothing white  walls, the  gentle  ambient  lighting,  subtle  aromatherapy,  peaceful  calming  music, extra  fuzzy  and   buttery  soft  blankets,  ‘silent  service’  option where  talking  is  kept  to  a  minimum  for  ultimate  relaxation,  a beautiful  glowing  fireplace and….   my  biggest  splurge  and  the  one  I’m  most  excited  about:    a  TOP  OF  THE  LINE  beauty  bed  that  can  be  configured  head  to  toe  for  your  comfort🤍  

In  order for  me  to  be  able  to  complete  the  best  lash  sets  I  can,  that  requires  my  clients  to  be  able  to  lay  comfortably  for  at  least  2+  hours  at  a  time.    I  would  never  expect  anyone  to  lay  on  a  hard  flat  surface  for  that  long,  knowing  how hard it  can  be  on your back/hips/neck and  pressure  points   while  I  create lash  magic  😉
